Olicana Mosaics is based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, where David James creates mosaics for garden designers, landscape architects, local authorities, schools, charities and companies as well as private individuals.

At the end of July 2011, David installed a large exterior mosaic at Burley Oaks primary school. 100 children took part in workshop sessions to make the leaves and the wildlife mosaic sections, which were then incorporated into the tree. The dry stone wall was made by Philip Dolphin Mastercraftsman, as part of the overall scheme designed by Olicana Mosaics.
The 'Garden of Creation' designed by Helen Taylor sgd, and incorporating more than 12 mosaics by OM Featured in the society of garden designers Journal 2011 as one of the years top 10 gardens.
