In 2008 we ran a well attended drop in mosaic workshop at RHS Garden Harlow Carr as part of the popular family fortnight. Children decorated a terracotta plant pot using ceramic mosaic tiles, which was then filled with compost and seeds.

Manor House Museum Ilkley
As part of Roman festival, we ran several semi structured workshops in which 20 children produced roman mosaics. The standard of the work produced was excellent and a big thankyou to all the children, mums, dads and carers who took part. And a big thankyou to the Manor House staff for inviting us to run it.
One of these is a two thousand year old Libyan mosiac of a Soloman's Knot and the other was produced in August 2008 by a very talented young man who drew out the design and reproduced it in less than an hour.
